Corporate Teams are those teams that are supported by a for-profit business. Any team providing recognition to a corporate or other business entity through the use and/or placement of the business name as part of their identity on:
... team signage on or within the team tent,
... company name and/or logo on team uniforms,
... promotional items or printed materials for display or distribution,
will fall into this category. This includes, but is not limited to:
Only teams who have appropriately registered as corporate teams will be listed to participate in their designated corporate challenge races.
A community team that displays any of the elements listed above will be subject to investigation on race day and may be denied participation.
Community teams are comprised of team members brought together through a community, social, club or family network. Examples of community teams include:

The Philadelphia International Dragon Boat Festival reserves the right to review all team entries and notify teams that are registered in the wrong category. Failure to register for the appropriate category in a timely manner will result in being disqualified from participating in the Festival.
In order to secure your spot in the 2013 edition of our Festival, you will need the following information ready to complete the online registration process:
Team Captains: Through the crew management system, you can invite (or cancel) your team members, which upon accepting the invite, they will register themselves and sign the waiver digitally.
Participants: Upon accepting the invite from your team captain to join, you will be brought to the PIDBF website to enter your personal details and sign your waiver. You must sign the waiver electronically in order to be eligible to paddle in a boat.
You may cancel a team registration by sending an email to Carol Lee Lindner info@philadragonboatfestival.com. Please provide your name and the name of your team. If you request a cancelation before June 1, 2013 you will be able to get your registration fee refunded minus a $300.00 processing fee. If you cancel your team registration on or after June 1, 2013, you will NOT be refunded.
Refunds are only issued per Cancelation Policy above, if requested before June 1, 2013 minus a $300 processing fee. The Philadelphia International Dragon Boat Festival is held on Saturday, October 5, 2013. In the event of unforeseen circumstances or natural disasters that may cause the cancelation or postponement of the Festival, NO REFUNDS WILL BE ISSUED.
